At 30 I bought my townhouse with a full-time and part-time job, got married 3 kids along the way, sold it, bought in Mililani Mauka, picked up another part-time job 2 days a week 4hrs each day. Sacrificed for 15 yrs, retired on both part-time jobs with pay and benefits, now will retire completely in 2 yrs at 65. I chose to stay here at home in Hawaii and knew i needed to sacrifice with 3 jobs consecutively for 15yrs, it paid off.

The only representative that is there & actually is voicing for the people is Kaniala Ing. Hookano is so speaking for Carlos Andrade. No disrespect but you are going off of outright lies and on Carlos Andrade’s words, twisted truths, and his own agenda filled with outright lies. Yes we all know your sons are friends of Carlos. Well he’s dead now! 🌺🙊 And those two others “ shame on you! So what if you have built your life on Hawaiian studies, and Land Laws regarding Hawaiian Lands. You are so not 🌺Hawaiian at all. That dude Keoni sounds exactly like Carlos Andrade, and I should know that tone and attitude, after all I have known and loved my first cousin all of my life. And..as for that other Daviana woman, I’ll pray for you to, as I pray for my cousin Carlos, he has disrespected, cheated and lied publicly, …and for what reason.. he’s dead, and so is his brother, that he moved off the land who died shortly after that move. Furthermore, for the record Rosalia Rapozo did not donate her property to some charity, and neither did she die somewhere in Ewa Oahu. Let me tell you what breaks a heart. When Carlos Andrade gave the eulogy at my father’s funeral, and to my person he claimed he had no idea that my parents were divorced, and had separate last will & testaments. That Carlos claimed there was no will on file recorded, and used an obituary from the Star Bulletin to recognize my ohana, mind you it was my grandfather, and great grandfather as well. Mind you Carlos lives a mile away from me, and came the day before all of this went viral. One mile away, and my father lived in my home, Where I single hardly cared for my dad in his last years on earth, in my home, that I single handily Bought, and Built single handily, while you lived in a bush somewhere. And guess what cuz, I did not have to lie Or cheat or steal I did It as a young lady with a young child. I worked hard and put my own butt through college. Unlike my cousin Carlos, if it ain’t free,or a Grant, he ain’t in that bus, he be in Canada or in a bush. Meanwhile I am ashamed of my own cousin while he’s conspiring with everyone that do dark shady deals in the dark. Only to deceive for his evil greed, profit and conspired against his own ohana. As his mom use to say “ my heart bleeds for you”. After I sent him the correct information,he advised he would forward to his attorney copies of that will, and other pertinent information. To which I advised him, “ save that thought, and you obviously missed the cc: list in my letter to you. I have already corrected your error, and advise your team of attorneys, as well as MarkZ.s Attorneys on Oahu. This is how Carlos ran his shit show! Kind of like a demon that comes only to kill, steal, and destroy in a blink of an eye. Well it didn’t matter anyway. It was never acknowledged, and it’s not ever going to be. He also rewarded one dead aunt’s children with a share knowing full well that aunt signed her share away, but he never gave a share to her brother, his/our uncle that signed his share to him and trusted him to do right by his daughter. And honestly I don’t give a shit, it hurts that he disrespected my father, as well as his own mother who I loved and she loved her brother my father. That’s what you clowns don’t get while you chat away giving us a 10 cent history lesson in genealogy and, as if we could not look at the law and read it ourselves, as though we were illiterate. It’s a dam shit show Only to the benefit of Carlos Andrade 💰and Mark Zuckerberg.🦈 PBS thank you, and your lovely media commentary your Yanji was awesome, and did an excellent job bring up some true information. How shame for that Hookano, Keoni what’s his name, and that other woman. How old are you any way? 100. Nobody that’s a property owner needs your shibi, like the late Fred Antone use to say “ full of Pee and a kaka” With the exception of Kaniala Ing❤. You will forever live in the hearts of who you represented this day. Mahalo, you should be proud of your efforts to reason with these old boars. Hey I’m seventy they are a lot older and should retire, or just shut the blank up. It’s a new day and we have moved on from that political thing that you do claiming Hawaiian education for Hawaiians. Eat shit and bye. Carlos did, you all can meet up where ever that may be. As for me and mine, we look forward to meeting our kupunas that were good people. Not liars and thieves. Again Thank you Kaniala Ing ❤ I will make Sure my son never forgets your name, even when I am gone. May the Lord Bless you for all of your good faith. You to Yanji ❤good job. One more piece of information . My son is the descendent of Hattie Kupihea the last living kahuna from Kauai, and his grandmother is of 100percent Hawaiian blood. He has never felt any kind of feeling of ohana from my cousin, and questioned his integrity as a Claimed Hawaiian blood line. It might have been his English blood that took over. What is Carlos Andrade’s Hawaiian blood quantity 6 percent ? I’m guessing.

If he followed his grandfather’s lead and started in Hilo and built his own house like that he could afford it, every island is different and every area on each island is different but Hilo on the big island is the best place to start it has affordable land because of the active volcano and no jobs because there is no tourism. That’s probably why his grandfather left.

Things are even worst over here in UK I feel. Me and my partner both work for 2 of the biggest tech companies in the world, we are both seniors. Well we have to leave London after I got pregnant, because we wanted a house with a small garden. 2 bedrooms, smaller then a wardrobe. We couldn't afford that in London, unless we go to a bad neighbourhood with dangerous schools, or a God forgotten suburb with nothing around us. Now we commute for work to London from another city, because we cannot to have a house even here with the local salaries.

But who can today, on one factory salary, keep food on the table for 11 kids and a wife at home and actually afford owning a house??? We seem to gotten the basics completely wrong, first a house and food, THEN gadgets and vacations...

Sam Kinison, (deceased comedian) had a bit where he would talk about solving the hunger issue in Africa. "MOVE TO WHERE THE FOOD IS!", he would scream. So, I know Hawaii culturally is strongly oriented towards family, community - and I think that's fantastic. Still, you want to see your relatives, or do you want to eat? The sad part is - moving doesn't solve anything. The same job that pays you 70k in Hawaii is likely to only pay you 40k in Alabama or Arkansas. Cost of living is cheaper, but so are the salaries.

The US is 4th Worst in the World for Wage Disparity. That is where Executives in a company earn 236x what the ave employee in the company earns. It was 6x back in the 70s. Executives are way overpaid and they get little to no better stock performance than others. Time to layoff or outsource the executives, a "haircut" as they like to say.
